Max&Co. spring-summer collection 2011: south of France chic, feminine look

Max&Co. spring summer 2011

I absolutely love Max&Co.’s 2011 spring-summer collection which harkens back to the classic early 60s look in the south of France. There’s nothing harsh and aggressive about the clothes – just soft, feminine shapes and breezy looks that you will wear year after year. I am a fan of Max&Co.’s design. It is part of the Max Mara Group, geared towards a younger crowd. The clothes are also more affordable.

I selected my four favorite pieces, although there are many others I would love to add to my collection. The dresses are definitely party pieces you can wear season after season (left: Nadine dress, right: Naif dress).

Below are two skirts that are gorgeous for day or night. Just dress them up or down depending upon the occasion.

Shown on the left is the Damerino skirt in stretch cotton satin worn with a red Schettin 1 top. On the right is the A-line Facchino taffeta skirt worn with the SCI cardigan (with crystals) and the Abisso ballerina flats.
